I created this necklace with some fabric pumpkins, ceramique and fabric beads.

Textile Jewellry

My friend Tina has been helping me make some jewellry with the bits and pieces left over from Oakshott fabrics.     

First we cut out little rounds of Oakshott fabric and sew them to make fabric beads

Then we assemble them together by hand by the way

Then the pumpkins get sewn from slightly larger rounds of Oakshott fabric

Lucky that I have lots of bits and pieces to make up jewellry

Here is the finished product

So light and lovely to wear

The little bells on the end make a tinkly noise when you move your head.
