Jean Marie brought back from the forest a bunch of wild asparagus. I've been looking on the internet to see how best to cook them. Fried with butter and eggs, risotto with pasta Italian style, boiled and eaten with meat course, beheaded and fried up with bacon and rice. There are loads of amazing recipes out there.
As they have a rather delicate flavour, in fact quite a bland taste I've finally decided to steam them and Jean Marie will eat them dipped in mayonnaise and me with lemon and butter. Any ideas from anyone else or recipes to share. Would love to hear from you.
